My client is a specialist service provider of cranes and hydraulic equipment. They are looking for an Engineer to join their team near Shrewsbury on a permanent basis.

The Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• 3 year or more of experience in a similar Service/Maintenance Engineering position
• Have a background in crane servicing/maintenance and principles
• Knowledge of electrical engineering
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
• The ability to understand system requirements
• Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Engineer role will involve:

• Provide servicing & maintenance for cranes
• Identifying and rectifying faults on cranes
• Guidance and assistance to customers as required on functional and technical information
• Maintaining working relationships with colleagues and clients
