Key Tasks, Responsibilities and Duties- Plan, deliver, and teach individual pupils or small groups in accordance with the school's curriculum framework and related policies
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
- Contribute to and help implement school developments linked to the School Development Plan
- Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of pupils in line with Company policies
- Support the creation and implementation of tailored learning programmes that ensure appropriate and sustained progression
- Take responsibility for coordinating the teaching, development, assessment, and reporting of subjects and learning areas across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher
- You're someone who brings passion, creativity, and enthusiasm into every lesson. You believe in every child's potential - and you know how to bring out their very best.
- Hold QTS (desirable) or be willing to work towards gaining it
- Have experience supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, learning difficulties, or complex needs
- Communicate with confidence, clarity, and empathy
- Be flexible, solution-focused, and committed to personalised learning approaches
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and want to play an active role in shaping our school community
- Full UK Driving Licence

Smallbrook School is currently increasing capacity from 50 students to 80 and has a large investment in our school site developing KS2 and sixth form provision. We are a co-educational day school catering for pupils aged 7-18 with a range of complex needs including social, emotional and mental health needs, and pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism.
