We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for both attainment and behaviour. Visits to Redhill Primary Academy are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Thomas Telford Primary Free School is currently operating from temporary demountable accommodation until September 2026; however, prospective candidates are still welcome to visit the site and view the new school building under construction from the roadside, as well as explore the exciting design plans.

Thomas Telford Primary Free School is a new primary school, which joined the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust in September 2025. The TTMAT has a proven track record of excellence and is at the forefront on educational developments nationally. In June 2024, Redhill Primary Academy was awarded Ofsted’s highest accolade, after being rated Outstanding in all areas of the inspection framework, stating that all pupils thrive both academically as well as personally and socially.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as stated in the person specification.

The schools are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All successful candidates are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list (for regulated activity posts) as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024), such as an online check, suitable references, s, and proof of qualifications (where appropriate).
