Accounts Senior – Shrewsbury. Up to £35,000 + Clear Path to Progression. This Shrewsbury-based firm is looking for an Accounts Senior who wants more than just compliance work, with experience valued, a voice heard, and real progression.

• Real autonomy – you’ll be trusted to manage your own portfolio of clients and see jobs through end-to-end.
• Hands-on client exposure – not hidden behind a manager, but out front, advising and building relationships.
• Mentorship – you’ll support and develop juniors, sharing what you know while still learning yourself.
• Technical variety – from finalising accounts and tax computations to dealing with more complex areas like deferred tax, disclosures, and restructuring.

You’ll need to be either AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified (or nearly there) with solid practice experience. More than that, you’ll need the right mindset: organized, client-focused, and motivated to keep pushing yourself.
