Accounts SeniorShrewsburyCirca £34,000 - £38,000 (Dependent on Experience)Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with an established and leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Shrewsbury who are looking to add an Accounts Senior to their personable and professional team. As an Accounts Senior your role will be varied but will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

The workload will include the preparation of both statutory and management accounts as well as tax compliance and you will also be involved in the provision of bookkeeping and VAT services. The ideal candidate may be ACCA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified however people who are AAT Qualified or Qualified by

Experience with strong practice experience will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations and returns

You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and work well within a team.

Experience of preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts in an accountancy practice using an accounting software package

Managing & supervising the work of more junior staff

Review accounts and act as point of reference to the team with regard to complex issues

Involvement with business advisory work

Skills:

ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified, AAT Qualified or QBEExperience of undertaking a varied practice role
