We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their highest level of independence and functional abilities. Responsibilities- Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence
- Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions designed to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to Occupational Therapists and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment plans and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and communication
- Participate in staff development and continuing education to maintain expertise in occupational therapy techniques and best practices
- Associate's degree or certificate in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum 0 years of experience in occupational therapy (new graduates welcome to apply!)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
