$3000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Major Responsibilities- Escort patients to examination rooms, take and record vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc.; collect and document patient health status, history, and monitor patient progress following standard procedures.
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point of Care (POC) tests according to clinic/office standards.
- Prepare, document, and administer non‑intravenous injections as directed or required by office/clinic within scope of practice.
- Assist in performing routine physical examination or clinical procedures.
- Review laboratory results and ensure abnormal results are immediately brought to the attention of the physicians and others, as appropriate.
License/Certification/Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart Saver (HS) certification from the American Heart Association. If not available upon hire, a BLS/HS must be obtained within 3 months from date of hire. Failure to obtain certification within 3 months will result in termination or re‑application for a position matching qualifications.
- Medical Assistant credential, approved by the Massachusetts Department of Health (ARMA, NHA, etc.), must be obtained within 1 year from date of hire/transfer. Failure to obtain credentialing within 1 year will result in termination or re‑application for a suitable position. Senior Leadership may grant an extended grace period for extenuating circumstances.

Required:
All of the above and must already have the Medical Assistant certification or registration prior to start date.
