Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team at Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing  a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain independence. • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on physical and cognitive skills.

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities.

• Implement and modify occupational therapy interventions, including activities of daily living, range of motion exercises, and cognitive training.

• Monitor and document patient progress, making recommendations for modifications to treatment plans as needed.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field.

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Massachusetts.

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates encouraged to apply).

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
