SEN Teaching Assistants – Telford & Shropshire
TARA Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream schools and specialist SEN provisions throughout Telford and Shropshire
.
We are seeking passionate, patient and dedicated individuals to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs
.
- 1:1 SEN support within mainstream primary and secondary schools
- Small group and class-based support within specialist SEN provisions and alternative settings
- Supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional needs
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual support plans
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive engagement in learning
- Providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care‑based experience welcomed)
- Are calm, resilient and adaptable
- Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Are available for day‑to‑day, short‑term or long‑term placements
- Opportunities across a variety of local schools and SEN settings
