A-Tech Automotive Co. is seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and safety.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Technician with experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics and repairs, conducting routine maintenance services, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, tire rotations, exhaust, HVAC repairs, electrical systems, and more.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, tire mount and balance, and inspections.
• Use specialty diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to industry safety standards.
• Provide accurate documentation of repairs and services performed.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and industry trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from a recognized automotive program (e.g., ASE Certification) is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with automotive tools, equipment, and software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with Service Manager regarding vehicle issues and solutions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Entry-level to experienced technician.
• Own tools preferred.
