Truck Driver​/CDL-A​/Flatbed​/Weekends

Overview

Drive for a local freight operation hauling aluminum coils, pipe, steel, and building materials. This position offers non-forced, flexible dispatch, no touch freight, weekly pay, accessorial pay, and paid orientation.

• Operate automatic transmissions (Automatics).
• Tarp 40%–50% of loads; driver is paid $40 per load they tarp.
• Haul aluminum coils, pipe, steel, and building materials.
• Perform duties in a non-forced and flexible dispatch environment.
• Comply with all safety and drug-use requirements.
• Weekly pay and accessorial pay included.
• Complete a 3-day orientation in Birmingham, AL.

• 1 year OTR (3 states) with 6 months of flatbed within the past 5 years.
• Local experience will not count.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No more than 6 jobs in the past 3 years.
• No more than 1 "At Fault" accident in the past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DOT Preventable Accident within the last year.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
• Urine drug screen required.
• Felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed.
• Driver must have verifiable experience with steel pipe, steel coil, straps, tarps, chains, binders, and/or flat steel.

• $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for drivers who qualify. To qualify, driver must have fewer than 6 jobs in the past 3 years.
• Vacation pay.
• 3-day orientation in Birmingham, AL.

If driver has had 6 jobs or more in the past year, they will not qualify for the Sign-on Bonus of $5,000.
