Position Description

We are looking for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver located in Shreveport, LA.
Truck Driver CDL A Local Home Daily will operate a tractor‑trailer on a local home‑daily route.

• Weekly pay: $976–$1,170
• Hourly rate: $27.89
• Health stipend: $5.55 per hour
• Hours:
  
  35‑40 per week
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  7‑day operation, 5‑6 days per week
• Shift start: 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Flexibility for either shift

• Route: SOLO To Shreveport and surrounding area shuttle, local home‑daily
• Tractor:
  Day cab
• Trailer:
  Dry van 53" and straight truck 26'
• Equipment:
  Rolling carts
• Transport freight:
  Touch – US Mail
• Trucks are 36‑month new or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and company fuel at over 800 facilities nationwide

• Uniform and boot allowance

• Secondary background screen – Federal Level 2

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Class A experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months within past 3 years OR
  • 2 years within last 5 years OR
  • 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
