School Bus Driver

We are currently hiring Bus Drivers at DS Bus in Shreveport. Our ideal candidates will reside in the Shreveport area, enjoy working with children, and be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Requirements: CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsement.

Pay Rates:
Training Rate - $10.50/hr, Revenue Rate - $21.91/hr, plus a $50/month Safety & Attendance Bonus.

A Driver's primary responsibilities include transporting clients safely and punctually, performing pre-trip inspections, child checks post-route, and adhering to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Transport clients to and from destinations.
• Arrive on schedule.
• Handle administrative tasks like office pickups.
• Plan routes considering traffic, construction, and weather.
• Use navigation tools for optimal routing.
• Interact professionally with clients.
• Ensure vehicle readiness, including fueling and repairs.
• Maintain accurate mileage and repair records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
