Job Description

Deep South Heavy Equipment is seeking an Inside Equipment and Forklift Sales Representative for Shreveport, LA.

• Managing internal customer sales inquiries up to and including completing the sale.
• Process all light construction sales orders for the branch.
• Assist all outside branch sales representatives in overall machine efforts.

• Candidate must be well organized, a self-starter with good people skills.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the equipment/construction industry, as well as construction machinery and its applications, by our customers.
• Excellent financial math skills.
• Computer savvy.
• Must have excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly change priorities and remain productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible to work outside standard hours to meet customers’ needs.
• Experience in a sales-related field preferred.
• Must be a high school graduate, Marketing degree preferred.

• Position pays a base salary plus a commission.
