A position that is: Hourly, Full time (2nd Shift), Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

The Material Handler will receive, store, and distribute materials and products within a warehouse using a Warehouse Management System and supporting production lines.
Responsibilities- Expedite the unloading of material from trailers, verifying item numbers and checking for discrepancies
- Receive POs using a handheld computerized Warehouse Management System
- Read Production Work Tickets to determine items to be picked and staged in the Work Order staging area
- Participate in daily cycle counting program
- Pick and stage orders by interpreting customer-specific work instructions
- Adhere to the company’s safety standards and enforce safety regulations
- Maintain clean and orderly work area and warehouse
- Responsible for the accuracy of all system transactions
- Verify that the quality of outbound loads meets customer expectations
- Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the company’s ISO standards
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 4 years of forklift operations experience and training
- Experience using a computerized Warehouse Management System
- Must have good command of the English language and the ability to read and understand written instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished written or orally in English
- Ability to use basic tools, various material handler equipment and hand-held scanners
- Must exhibit promptness and attention to detail
This position requires frequent lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing and bending. Employee must be able to deal with multiple assignments and work well under pressure. Protective clothing is required for this position which includes steel toe shoes, gloves and safety glasses.
