Job Summary
The Materials Handler is responsible for executing material handling and for movement within the facility in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities- Issue and transfer parts for production.
- Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Note: Weekday Day and Weekday Night schedules are provided below. (If applicable, include any shift differential and overtime expectations.)
Weekday Day: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) with some mandatory OT on Fridays.
Weekday Night: 5pm - 3:30am (Monday - Friday) – $3 shift diff. with some mandatory OT on Friday night - Saturday.
Qualifications and Experience- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience in inventory management.
- Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles.
- 3-5 years of forklift experience.
