Maintenance techs at Sun Tan City keep our equipment and facilities running in tip‑top shape to ensure our clients receive a consistent high‑quality experience with great results every time they visit, in a well‑maintained relaxed and comfortable environment. From repairing & maintaining the tanning and spa equipment to keeping the laundry facilities functioning, our techs are integral to our employee’s and company’s overall success and brand reputation.

• Position may require two weeks of out‑of‑town training (expenses paid).
• The Maintenance Technician must be at a salon by 7:00 a.m. each morning, Monday through Friday.
• Repair and maintain UV and sunless tanning equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
• Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
• Must be available for alternating on‑call shifts with other technicians.
• Manage daily/weekly reports and schedule accordingly.
• Track and record monthly expense reports.
• Work with salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
• Complete weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
• Ability to work 5 days per week and approximately a 40‑to‑45‑hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
• Ability to read schematics is a plus.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
• Accurate and attentive to detail while managing time effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
