Trash Technician

• Position opens immediately for full‑time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location:
  
  Ochsner LSU Health – Saint Mary Medical Center, 915 Margaret Place, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101. Online applications accepted only.
• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Rotating weekends (details provided during interview).
• Requirements:
  No prior experience required. Willingness to train!
• Perks:
  Uniforms provided.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour.

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio‑hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio‑hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform cleaning functions as assigned; properly operate cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
