Overview

Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] - Shreveport, LA (CONUS) - Digital Training Facility Management (DTFM) (DTFM
058). This is a full-time role supporting a DoD/Military sector engagement. The position is located near Shreveport, LA and is a W-2 employee labor category position within the Engagement Team Cadre to fulfill Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements and to serve as the Digital Training Facility Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage the use of Digital Training Facilities (DTFs) and provide hands-on assistance to the Enterprise Management System (EMS) staff for the assigned location.
  • Operate required hands-on equipment and record on-site operations for the project.
  • Oversee the DTF to follow EMS directions for replacing monitors, desktop computers, and servers, and verify hardware and software operation in the DTFs.
  • Maintain facility security and operate equipment; assist students in using assets provided in DTFs.
  • Monitor and report the condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at site locations.
  • Collaborate with other entities to create secure lab environments and provide hands-on equipment operation and on-site support.
  • Provide metrics and reports to designated Management, Section Leadership, and Stakeholder Staff; provide server and application support and maintain superior customer interactions for The DTF.
  • Record the operational status of the DTF(s) to the appropriate chain of command and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
  • Schedule DTF use and provide hands-on assistance to the Army Training Information System (ATIS) Product Manager (PdM) and EMS staff; coordinate training scheduling with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience: 5 years of management experience within the realm of IT support and/or management (Required).
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate trainees to summarize, forecast, identify requirements, screen information, determine eligibility, and provide solutions to challenges; strong oral and written communication for coordinating and scheduling training and producing reports and presentations.
Education and Security Clearance
  • Bachelor degree (preferably computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering or related).
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; e-Verify participation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Adobe; able to learn other tools quickly.
  • All staff must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization; may require varying levels of background investigation up to Top Secret or Q clearance; some roles require Secret Clearance/NACI.
Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies; strong computer hardware and software skills (including Microsoft server, Windows desktop management, printing management).
  • Project/process management with the ability to define, monitor, and report on projects.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; strong oral and written communication; ability to interview patrons and interpret information needs.
  • Ability to manage programs, develop and deploy computer images/configurations, and work effectively as part of a team.
