One position at Soldier Centered Medical Home, Fort Richardson Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those new to Federal service.

• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, including recommendations for team-based care.
• Implement psycho educational classes to target high-frequency diagnoses in the primary care clinic.
• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant): Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience including conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is typical of work at the next lower grade level (GS-12).

Substitution of education for experience is not permitted for this position; experience must be used to qualify.
