• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Provide regular, concise feedback to primary care providers and staff on referred patients, including recommendations for team-based care.
• Implement psycho educational classes to target high-frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience includes paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, transcripts will be required.

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist:

Degree:
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This definition is typical of work at the next lower grade level (GS-12).

Substitution Note: Some federal jobs allow substitution of education for experience, but for this position you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone—no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

This position requires a current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
