DSPDSW Direct Service Professional PART TIME

Part Time 3 PM-7:15 PM
- Weekends required. Starting Rate: $15.00 plus .75 cent shift diff. for hours worked between 3:30 pm to 7:15 pm.

Holy Angels Residential Facility is seeking a DSW/DSP Direct Service Professional from 3:00 pm-7:15 pm. Weekends are Required to provide care and assist with daily living skills for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Supervise, assist, and train resident in all activities of daily living, including personal hygiene skills, clothing care skills, social skills, leisure skills, care of personal space, dining skills, toileting, and appropriate behavior skills.
• Provide continuous active treatment for residents.
• Accurately complete all assigned documentation including formal and service objectives, behavior incident reports, accident/incident documentation, medical related documentation.
• All documentation put in computer system.
• Report any issues or sign/symptoms of resident illness to nurse and supervisor.
• Provide additional services such as laundry, dining room duty, or any other reasonable requests made by supervisor deemed necessary for resident care or as part of the job.
• Requires daily computer use.

• Must be able to take the CMA class as REQUIRED for all DSP’s. Pay increase once certification is obtained.
• Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license to drive vehicles.

• GED or High School Diploma Required.

• Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs.
