Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - PRN

Performs component of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with practices of occupational therapy. Patient population ranges in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis/conditions and/or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assist patients in achieving his/her maximum functional performance while learning to live within their capabilities. Record patient’s responses to treatment and report treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
