Overview
This position is located in Western District of Louisiana, Shreveport LA. The selectee of this position serves as an Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and directing District administrative programs in support of the mission of the United States Marshals Service.
GS-13 Time in Grade RequirementsMerit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted.)
Minimum QualificationsTo be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply.
You may qualify at the GS-0341-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties successfully of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:
Subject Matter Expert - Qualification Assessment (SME-QA)

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
