Summary
The Project Engineer will work with the Public Works and Development Groups throughout the design and construction process, adapting plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs. This position will work directly under the supervision of a Market Group Leader.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supports Group Leaders in successfully delivering civil design projects, meeting deadlines and budget goals
• Leads the technical development of project tasks from design through construction
• Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, and CADD technicians
• Coordinates with clients, stakeholders, and local agencies to gather input and resolve project issues
• Works in a team environment to deliver a range of civil design projects
• Prepares and reviews scopes, budgets, and schedules for project assignments
• Performs and reviews engineering calculations, cost estimates, and construction documents
• Conducts QA/QC reviews
  
  Assists with proposals and presentations for professional services or project funding
• Attends and actively contributes to project meetings and technical discussions
• Applies strong problem-solving skills to develop practical and efficient solutions Communicates clearly with team members and clients to keep work on track

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in Civil 3D
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills
