Instructor​/Assistant​/Associate Professor Of Nursing

Northwestern State University's College of Nursing and School of Allied Health seeks an applicant for a 12-month full-time faculty position for the Associate/Bachelor of Science degree programs in Nursing, available in Shreveport beginning August 4, 2025.

• Master of Science in Nursing degree required;
  Doctorate preferred.
• Eligible for membership on undergraduate faculty.
• Unencumbered RN licensure in Louisiana or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum three years of nurse educator experience; more preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet university standards.

• Perform faculty duties within a large nursing education department.
• Support program expansion in Shreveport and surrounding areas.
• Teach courses promoting academic excellence and student engagement.
• Provide instruction in professional and clinical areas.
• Evaluate student outcomes and provide feedback.
