Qualifications- Master of Science in Nursing degree required;
Doctorate preferred. - Eligible for membership on undergraduate faculty.
- Unencumbered RN licensure in Louisiana or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience.
- Minimum three years of nurse educator experience; more preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet university standards.
- Perform faculty duties within a large nursing education department.
- Support program expansion in Shreveport and surrounding areas.
- Teach courses promoting academic excellence and student engagement.
- Provide instruction in professional and clinical areas.
- Evaluate student outcomes and provide feedback.
- Serve as a professional role model.
- Represent the university positively.
- Maintain records and documentation.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with laws and policies.
- Participate in policy development and college activities.
- Maintain office hours and mentorship.
- Engage in recruitment and community engagement activities.
