Overview
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport seek applicants for an Academic Nocturnist/Hospitalist in the Department of Medicine. We are growing our hospitalist program to cover inpatient and Medicine and Surgical teams. Must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure. Graduating Internal Medicine residents are welcome to apply. 7 on/7 off schedule, $300k+ compensation.
Responsibilities- Provide hospitalist coverage for inpatient medicine and surgical teams as part of an expanding program.
- Collaborate with a collegial multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to develop customized plans of care for each patient.
- Participate in physician leadership and input at administrative levels.
- Base salary with RVU incentive, guaranteed night incentive, and $300k+ total compensation
