Hospitalist Physician

Brentwood Hospital, located in Shreveport, Louisiana, is recruiting a BC full-time Geriatric Psychiatrist for their NEW Inpatient Geriatric Fellowship Program.

The position title will be a Hospital Academic Service Directorship.

The Senior Inpatient Program provides specialized treatment for older adults living a geriatric lifestyle with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral problems, which can include mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, delirium, Alzheimer s disease, dementia, and suicidal or homicidal behavior. Our program treats patients through an interdisciplinary approach, administered under the supervision and direction of an attending psychiatrist.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Geriatric Psychiatry is required.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Active Louisiana license or ability to obtain a license.
