Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Buyer Assistant role located in Shreveport, LA. The Buyer Assistant will support the purchasing team by managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, and assisting in the procurement process. Additional responsibilities include analyzing purchasing data, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the availability of high-quality products to meet operational needs.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes and creating/handling Purchase Orders
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate purchasing trends and inventory requirements
- Experience in Purchasing and effectively managing procurement tasks
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant software such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or a degree in a related field is a plus
