Overview
LSU Shreveport is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant 3 to the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences
.
This role provides advanced administrative support, assisting with office operations, coordination, and communication in support of the Associate Dean’s functions. We are looking for a highly organized, dependable professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic environment.

Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties- Interacts with the general public, responds to inquiries for information (in person, by telephone, and by email), and explains academic programs, policies, and procedures. Receives incoming telephone calls and provides requested information or directs callers to the correct office. Schedules appointments for the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Assists with day-to-day operation of LSUS's Early College Programs (Dual Enrollment and Academic Excellence), including record-keeping of Dual Enrollment forms, liaising with high schools to coordinate visits and virtual workshops with key campus resources, and maintaining a current list of Dual Enrollment and Academic Excellence students, together with grades.
- Assists with on-campus and off-campus events organized or overseen by the Associate Dean.
Appointment Type: Probational or Promotional
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
