ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night shift travel RN opportunity in Show Low, AZ. 13-week acute care ICU assignment, 12-hour nights, immediate start. Join our critical care team in the White Mountains.

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090–$2,200 per week (based on 36 hours/week)

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in a modern 12-bed Intensive Care Unit. This ICU RN position is ideal for experienced critical care nurses, travel nurses, and intensive care RNs seeking Arizona nursing jobs with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Nurse / Travel RN
• Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel RN assignment)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:00–06:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours (guaranteed)
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Start Date: ASAP
• Orientation: Every Monday
• Travel Position: Yes — travel nurse / travel RN opportunity

• Minimum 2 years recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Active RN license (Arizona RN license or Compact Nurse Licensure preferred)
• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
• Proven experience with ventilator management and common ICU equipment
• Comfortable managing continuous drips, arterial lines (a-lines), and post-procedure care
• Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED) or Medical-Surgical (MS) units if experienced
• Strong documentation skills; experience with Allscripts charting is a plus

• Deliver patient-centered critical care for conditions including pneumonia, ARDS, DKA, sepsis, STEMIs, post-cath patients, and other acute diagnoses
• Manage common ICU drips:
  Amiodarone, Cardizem, Levophed (Norepinephrine), Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, Vecuronium, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Insulin, Heparin, and others
• Provide ventilator care and monitoring (typically managing 1–2 ventilated patients)
• Follow hypothermia protocols, manage arterial lines, and support post-surgical and post-intervention patients
• Collaborate closely with Respiratory Therapists, Patient Care Technicians, Health Unit Secretaries, Nurse Managers, and the multidisciplinary ICU team
• Participate in modified self-scheduling and block scheduling based on unit preference
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Allscripts electronic health record
