- Experience caring for patients with pre-eclampsia
- Clinical background in high-risk patients
- Ability to assess and handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives
- Flexible to float to other units as needed
Description:
Seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
The position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
You will work with 7 L&D beds, 2 triage beds, and provide care for 1-3 births per day.
The nurse will support patients during labor and delivery and in postpartum care.
There is a support staff of Patient Care Technicians and Health Unit Secretaries on the unit.
The nurse manager may assist with patient care as needed.
Weekends will require a minimum of 3 shifts per 4-week schedule.
The nurses must be proficient in handling emergencies and caring for high-risk patients.
All RN candidates must have required certifications before starting the position.
Professional development and continuous learning will be encouraged.
This role is integral to providing safe and effective care in the Labor & Delivery setting.
