- 24 beds - Med Surg with Tele capability on all beds - Adults and Peds, but travelers do not take peds - these are assigned to perm staff
-Must be strong in Neuro and Cardiac skills - 2 years of experience required - ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required - PALS preferred
- Shifts:
12 hours - 36 hour guarantee with 3 cancellations - EMR:
Sunrise Allscripts - Support staff on unit:
Tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs and PCTs - Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds
-also based on level of acuity - Nurse managers don't provide patient care, but they do rounds - Float to all MS units and ICU (taking MS overflow patients) - Hospitalist in house 24/7 - No IV team - Resp Therapist 24/7 - Pharmacy 24/7 - Scrub color: any color except all black - Scrubs not provided
