Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with applications or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain features of the Target App (including Wallet) and assist with usage
• Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns following store policies; partner with leadership as needed to resolve guest issues
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stocking during open hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders and returns with compliance to laws
• Other duties as needed by business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Communicating effectively with positive language and attentiveness to guest needs

• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willing to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or as part of a team
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Able to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
