Accounting Operations Analyst

We are seeking a detail driven accounting professional who thrives on accuracy, problem solving, and collaboration. This role plays a central part in supporting core financial operations, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly, reconciliations are completed on time, and financial data is reliable for decision making.

• Oversee and support key components of accounting and finance workflows across daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Prepare and post journal entries, generate invoices, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and assist with month end close activities.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy in quantities, pricing, and coding, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze order management notes and financial data to ensure proper transaction handling.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to invoices, supplier payments, check requests, and budget variances.
• Partner cross functionally with operations, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to clarify financial questions and drive timely resolution.
• Compile and analyze financial data to support management reporting, forecasting, and planning activities.
• Educate internal customers on accounting processes and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Work extensively within enterprise accounting software, including Oracle.
• Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities to organize data, perform reconciliations, and build clear reporting tools.
• Navigate financial systems with confidence, ensuring data integrity across platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Hands on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance function.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
• Experience working with accounting systems such as Oracle or comparable platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Comfort collaborating across teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Strong overall computer proficiency and adaptability to new systems.
