Warehouse Operators

Tate's Bake Shop is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join the team at their distribution center in Shirley, NY!

• Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
• Storing and rotating inventory according to established procedures.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed.
• Strategically storing product to maximize warehouse storage space.
• Promptly processing work orders or requests.
• Responsible for safe operation of PIVs and adhering to all licensing process and regulations.
• Report damaged or missing goods to management.
• Assist in keeping warehouse environment clean and organized and maintaining equipment.
• Responsible for all applicable Company procedures and policies, including Mondelez Quality Policies.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, New York State and other regulatory requirements, to assure food safety & quality.
• Other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

1+ year experience in a similar role highly preferred.

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as warehouse management software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing a task.
• Must be able to work around moving equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear safety toe shoes for entire shift.
• Must be able to stand during entire work shift of 7+ hours (not including rest and meal periods).
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish and possess basic reading and writing skills to effectively understand and complete work-related documents, safety protocols, and instructions.

• Forklift license preferred, not required.

• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.

• $18.00/hr
