This school creates a safe, nurturing environment for children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including Autism (ASC), ADHD and complex learning needs — and they’re now looking for a caring and dedicated teaching assistant to join their team.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow their career as a teaching assistant while helping pupils learn, feel valued and achieve their potential every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Teaching Assistant:

Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Assisting with personalised learning activities based on EHCPs

Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapy staff

Helping create a calm, engaging and safe classroom environment

Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right teaching assistant

✅ We’d Love to Hear from You If You:

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (Autism, ADHD or complex needs)

Are patient, kind and resilient in your approach

Communicate well and enjoy being part of a team

Understand safeguarding and child protection responsibilities

Have worked in a school or special provision (ideal but not essential)
