PACU RN (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse) is responsible for monitoring and caring for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort during the recovery process.

• Patient Monitoring:
  Continuously assess patients' vital signs, consciousness levels, and overall condition as they recover from anesthesia. This includes observing for any side effects or complications related to anesthesia.

• Medication Administration:
  Administer pain management medications and other necessary treatments to alleviate post-operative symptoms such as nausea and discomfort.

• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including vital signs and any interventions performed, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.

• Patient Education:
  Provide information and reassurance to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery expectations.

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and facilitate timely interventions when necessary

• Emergency Response:
  Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as airway or cardiac complications, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Must have 1+ year of PACU Exp Must have BLS, ACLS and PALS - AHA
