Position type: PRN – rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. No call.
OverviewMemorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services, critical and emergency care, as well as pediatric emergency care. It also provides heart and vascular care, and has been accredited as a Chest Pain Center, an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, and a designated Lung Cancer Screening Center. The hospital is Magnet®-recognized for nursing excellence.
Memorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94‑bed, all‑private suite hospital recognized for Magnet status and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, and critical care. The MRI Department uses the latest technology to deliver quality imaging and angiography to in‑patients and out‑patients.
Role PurposePerforms diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and for quality control.
Responsibilities- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and on other sites as required by the work area.
- Associate or trade school equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- No supervisor experience required.
- IEMA – Illinois only, excluding MRI.
- RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Intravenous Therapy (IVT).
