- Provide support to USTRANSCOM J5/4 Global Plans & Assessments Branch in developing, maintaining, and assessing the five Global Campaign Plans and additional strategic documents as required.
- Develop point papers, executive summaries, and decision/information briefs in support of Global Campaign Planning or supporting initiatives.
- Participate in Joint Staff and OSD Policy directed Readiness Reviews, Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), and Global Campaign Plan (GCP) reviews.
- Assist in organizing, scheduling, leading, and facilitating joint planning groups (JPGs) and other working groups with USTRANSCOM, Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, and the DoD to include senior officers and Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel.
- Work across USTRANSCOM Directorates, and subordinate commands in support of the development and maintenance of USTRANSCOM strategy and campaign plans, to include facilitation of Consolidated Strategic Objectives (CSOs) and Key Strategic Activities (KSAs) development.
- Assist with annual and mid-term Global Campaign Plan assessments; aggregate and analyze information to determine trend analysis and impact.
- Review supporting and complimentary plans, directives, and doctrine in accordance with government criteria to ensure USTRANSCOM alignment with DoD strategic and planning guidance.
- Analyze, develop responses to, and close out Task Management Tool (TMT) and other related tasks.
- Assist with branch and contract related NIPR and SIPR knowledge management efforts.
- Conduct research and develop supporting papers and briefings on strategic distribution issues and opportunities.
- Assist with USTRANSCOM monthly Planners’ Forum scheduling, stakeholder engagement, slide presentations, and meeting minutes development.
- Bachelor’s degree and 13 years’ related experience or a master’s degree and 10 years’ related experience.
- Must hold an active, fully adjudicated Secret (or higher) clearance, granted by the US Government.
- Experience in planning, mobility operations, distribution, logistics, strategy development, or supply chain management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and comfortably with senior staff.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks independently and simultaneously.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365 tool suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Understanding of OPSEC/INFOSEC and experience working with classified information.
- Active Top Secret SCI Clearance granted by the US Government.
- Strategic or operational planning experience, preferably in support of a Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Service Headquarters, or Major Command.
- Working knowledge of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication (JWICS), Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) system, Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs), the Task Management Tool (TMT) system, and/or SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Global Campaign Plans, Combatant Command Campaign Plans, and Functional Campaign Plans (FCP).
- Experience developing Consolidated Strategic Opportunities (CSOs) and Key Strategic Activities (KSAs).
