House Supervisor RN CBH

Carrus Behavioral Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art, 28-bed child and adolescent behavioral facility. We provide 24-hour inpatient behavioral care for patients ages 5 through 17 who require a safe and therapeutic environment. Our multidisciplinary team, led by a board-certified psychiatrist, provides evidence-based therapies tailored to the needs of each child, adolescent, and family, and our effective management teams ensure that the hospital runs smoothly and that every patient leaves satisfied.

• Responsible for the administrative management of hospital-wide patient care activities on his/her designated shift.
• Consults with staff, physicians, Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer and/or designee on nursing procedures and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
• Manages department and the provision of nursing service according to the Standards of Nursing Practice consistent with facility philosophy of care, state laws, federal laws and regulations.
• Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs Other Job Duties As Needed And/or As Assigned.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, advanced level of analytical skills, and exceptional detail-orientation is required.
• Minimum Of Two Years’ Supervisory Experience Is Preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.

• Requires current State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse licensure.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
