Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Manufacturing Production
- Handles, distributes and transfers material and equipment to maintain efficient material flow through the factory.
- Performs manual and routine administrative duties in receiving, packing, shipping and warehousing.
- Physically transfers material utilizing handling equipment including forklift, skids, pallet handlers and hand trucks.
- Serves as active member of the team and meets the requirements to ensure the effective and efficinet operation of the shipping/receiving area.
- Active involvement in prep for and transition to new Logistics Hub.
Education & Experience
- High Schol diploma as a minimum is required.
- Must be able to read and interpret specifications, maintain records and use material measurement equipment.
- Two to three years of experience in a related shipping, receiving, packing, warehousing environment.
- Experience with handling customs issues associated with international shipments is a plus.
- Experience packaging hazmat shipments and preparing appropriate paperwork is a plus.
Skills
- Semiconductor experience is a plus
- Must be customer service oriented
Working Conditions
- Working conditions are that of a typical climate-controlled warehouse storage, dock and production environment.
Physical Requirements
- Standing up to 8 hour per day
- Lifting and carrying 25 pounds unassisted
- Sitting up to 8 hour per day.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
