Cable Tray Fabrication Operator- 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Cable Tray Fabrication Operator - 1st Shift. The core hours are 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.94 per hour.

• Set up, understand, and safely & proficiently operate fabrication equipment.
• Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.
• tag shop orders with product. Retrieve/enter data into system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
• Fabricate based on print specifications.
• Perform daily 5S & participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Rotate to various machines as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

• Basic computer skills.
• Solid math skills; analytical and reasoning skills.
• Able to read, interpret blueprints, and use simple measuring tools.

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.
• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection.
• Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil, sparks.
