HVAC Tech

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Plant Operations and the Supervisor, the HVAC Tech performs daily work routines to ensure safety and comfort of guests, patients and employees.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have experience in one or more building trades.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in building maintenance environment.

• Checks all chillers, cooling tower and air handling equipment.
• Checks and calibrates pneumatic controls.
• Checks and calibrates VAC boxes.
• Checks and cleans patient room air conditioners.
• Changes air filters as needed.
• Checks all hot/cold complaints, routine work orders.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
• Keeps tools and areas in clean and safe working order.
• Greases all equipment as needed.
• Checks and adjusts or changes belts as needed.
• Services all window units and patient room AC units as needed and requested.
• Repairs, replaces bearings and seals on all equipment.
• Ensures operation/air damper controlled by fire alarm.
• Maintains regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
