• Functions as a health care team member.
• Contributes to the assessment of the health status of individuals and groups.
• Participates in the development and modification of the plans of care.
• Implements care strategies within the Licensed Vocational Nurse scope of practice.
• Renders safe care and participates in evaluation of responses to care interventions.
• Delegates activities within the Licensed Vocational Nurse scope of practice and performs additional functions for which the Licensed Vocational Nurse has been trained.
• Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs Other Job Duties As Needed And/or As Assigned.

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing.
• Requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience In a Medical/surgical Care Setting Is Preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.

• Requires current state license (LVN) in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
