CTV Host​/Producer

KXII 12 News, the CBS & FOX affiliate and #1 news brand in the market serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, is looking for a host/producer to lead our CTV efforts on a daily basis. General responsibilities include the following:

• Produce and host CTV programming on station's livestream and CTV app
• Oversee and successfully expand our digital news desk, social media content, and apps
• Analyzes data/analytics to improve station success on all platforms
• Contribute to digital content by hosting from CTV desk and writing web stories daily
• Develop daily digital coverage plans and special content plans
• Administrative duties such as weekly scheduling and training new employees
• Assist in training and providing valuable feedback for the news team
• Cross-departmental collaboration and willingness to work in a team environment
• Updating station's social media platforms
• Answering news tip hotline
• Monitoring emergency scanner traffic

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, broadcast media, or related field
• On-air/on-camera skills
• High-level understanding of journalistic ethics
• Strong news writing skills (broadcast and digital)
• Strong video editing skills
• Knowledge of AP style
• Strong English language and spelling & grammar skills
• Competent video editor with knowledge of non-linear program(s) such as Final Cut, Premiere, Edius, etc.
• Able to work independently
• Ability to adjust and excel while working a flexible schedule
• Social media savvy
• Able to lead a team to achieve success
