Laborer - Sheridan, WY

** Perform physical labor on heavy construction projects. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, small mechanical devices, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Will install pipes, culverts, cattle guards, do light grade work and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders to enter and exit machines and trenches.

Will lift heavy objects 40-70 pounds and communicate verbally with supervision and coworkers.**

• ** Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.**
• ** Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.**
• ** Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, use gas operated hand equipment such as compactors and hand tools such as picks, shovels, wheel barrows, and rakes.**
• ** Load, unload, and identify construction materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to verbal instructions using company vehicles and or heavy equipment.**
• ** Operate jackhammers and drills to break up rock, concrete or pavement.**
• ** Transport and tend various size pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment.**
• ** Tend equipment and vehicles that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand and aggregate.**
