Job OverviewMobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They immerse themselves in significant connections with customers, and their ability to build new and deepen existing relationships is unmatched across the wireless industry.
They continually work to build expertise in uncovering customer needs and have a passion to educate, demonstrate and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning role, where new associates work with their team and proactively build skills and proficiencies in preparation for the next level up as a Mobile Expert. As a Mobile Associate, you will be required to successfully complete new employee training.
- Builds proficiency related to serving and selling to customers, while providing a world-class customer experience and building loyalty by: assisting customers in continuing their shopping journey, exploring individual needs, and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store; side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the basic device and service plan; approaching service and sales with composure, integrity and compassion.
- Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools in interactions and onboarding to demonstrate: network coverage in the customer’s neighborhood, why T-Mobile plans and services let customers live unlimited and stay connected; completes in-store training and knowledge of systems and resources; makes the most of time on shift to learn about wireless innovations.
- Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service, to: own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify and hand off small business leads, and support team initiatives in an inclusive environment.
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred (Required)

- Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it (Required)
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas while serving customers and providing resolutions (Required)

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, on-the-job training is provided and training pay is eligible. After promotion to Mobile Expert, an annual incentive target of $18,000/year may be earned (actual incentives vary based on performance and full-time status). All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. All employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
