Admissions​/Marketing Coordinator

Overview

Meet census goals by working with facility clinical team. Manage admissions process, referral management and admission sign-in, through post-admission.

• Schedule and conduct tours for customers, families, and referrals.
• Ensure all admission paperwork is signed and distributed appropriately.
• Work closely with the Administrator and others involved to maintain consistent admissions, discharge and transfer meetings.
• Conduct tours with prospective residents and their families, providing detailed information about our services and care options.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers and family members to gather necessary documentation and manage admissions paperwork.
• Assess the needs of potential residents to ensure an appropriate fit within our community.
• Support marketing initiatives to maintain and grow census.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate s degree or higher preferred.
• Previous experience in long term care facility preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare and other insurances.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent customer service skills.
• Follow up with all referrals in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
