Mechanical Engineering Intern

At National Carwash Solutions, our Intern positions provide an opportunity for students who are currently pursuing an education in Engineering to get hands‑on experience working with our professional staff.

We are currently seeking candidates to participate in our 2025 program with potential option for a Co‑op!

• Assist Engineering team with moving initiatives forward including evaluations and recommendations to help improve products and processes
• Assist senior level staff with documentation of products and processes including product technical specification, cut sheets, and manufacturing procedures
• Perform first principal engineering evaluation of products and processes for review by senior level staff for implementation
• Utilize knowledge of steel manufacturing, engineering practices, mathematics, and other physical sciences to support manufacturing; and
• Self‑check and ensure work for completeness, accuracy, compliance to standards and manufacturability
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

• Completion of college level coursework in an engineering related field with emphasis on Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• Proficient using Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA, Solid Edge, ProE, or Creo design software
• Demonstrated ability to be accurate and consistent with details
• Strong Problem‑Solving Skills
• Thrives working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer focused attitude
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Must stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
• Required to stand or sit for prolonged periods
• Intermittently lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs.
• May perform duties requiring employee to intermittently bend and twist
